About Us

30 Years of borehole, wellpoint and irrigation experience

Sam de Wet was always aware of the importance of water. As a result he started installing wellpoints in 1986, knocking door to door. It was a slow and sometimes difficult road but perseverance paid off. During this time valuable knowledge and experience was gained with regard to ground water installations and the effect of this ground water on lawn and plants. Since then the business has expanded into having a wellpoint division, a borehole division, a pump repair/sales/service division, de-watering division and an irrigation division. Today we have a client base that continues to support us by referring friends, family and colleagues.

Experience plays a major role in this industry. It is important to have a geological background as certain structures retain different water qualities. To know the areas and to know the ground structures is of great value and takes years of experience. Not only is experience imperative but product knowledge of pumps is also vital. The exact requirements of each individual client would need to be assessed thoroughly prior to installation. Furthermore, the quality of the installation and standard of service can not be compromised. Knowledge of water quality is important and the client needs to be informed on the use of the ground water to ensure maximum results for the garden. As an example, should the water contain sulphur, iron or any other elements then the client should be informed if he can use the water to fill his pool and what effect it would have on his lawn and plants. Certain plants react differently to certain elements in ground water.

To own a wellpoint / borehole installation considerably reduces your municipal bill and at the same time relieving the demand on our potable water. The use of ground water should not encourage the waste and mismanagement of this resource. Users are encouraged to refrain from wasteful watering habits.
